In addition to participating in high quality leadership academies, teachers are expected to:

  • Mentor other teachers at the campus, district, and regional levels.
  • Develop and implement 5E Inquiry Lessons that represent innovations in science teaching to help improve student achievement.
  • Document the impact of the program on teachers and students.
  • Share their experiences through presentations at the local, regional, and state levels.
  • Publicize the program to the school and community.

On behalf of the Texas Regional Collaboratives Advisory Board, Planning Committees, Project Directors, Instructional Teams, professors, administrators, teachers, and students who benefit from this grant, I want to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Toyota USA Foundation for this generous contribution to promoting the mission and goals of the Regional Collaboratives.
